Privacy Policy

We of Hyogo Prefecture Tenobe Somen Cooperative (the Cooperative) pledge ourselves to bring our customers safe, satisfying products and excellent service, and to build an everlasting relationship of trust with them. In line with this, we understand that the personal information of our customers is of supreme importance. Guided by the following policy on the protection of personal information, we will ensure the proper use of all data on our customers.

  • Collection and use of personal information

    The Cooperative may collect and use personal information for as limited a scope as is practical in order to provide better service to our customers and consumers.

  • Management and protection of personal information

    The Cooperative shall exercise the proper management and protection of personal information through appropriate security measures against loss, destruction, alteration, leakage, and illegal access.

  • Compliance with laws on personal information

    The Cooperative shall handle personal information in compliance with the laws and guidelines concerning its protection.

  • Allowing third parties access to personal information

    The Cooperative shall not disclose any personal information to any third party other than its business outsourcing partners without the express consent of the individual, provided, however, that it may disclose personal information without the individual’s consent if requested under the law by a legitimate public authority (courts, police, etc.). The Cooperative may outsource the handling of personal information. When it does so, the Cooperative will take all due care in selecting the agent to whom business is outsourced, ensure agreement is reached on proper handling, and monitor the status of the handling by the agent.

  • Disclosure, correction, and deletion of personal information

    The Cooperative will take reasonable measures to comply with a request from an individual to disclose, correct, or delete that individual’s personal information. This may not apply where the life, health, property, or any other interest of the individual may be threatened or where it is deemed that the performance of business by the Cooperative would be seriously hindered.

  • Maintenance and improvement of the protection of personal information

    The Cooperative shall train its staff in the handling of personal information to ensure it is handled properly, and review and improve its programs for the protection of personal information.

  • Amendments to privacy policy

    The Cooperative may amend its privacy policy in part or in whole. The Cooperative will not provide public notice the content of any amendments. You are requested to contact us if you wish this information.
