Spicy Somen with Pork and Garlic Greens

We are often busy and tired from the rush of everyday life. Try this recipe to build up your body strength! This combination of pork and garlic will increase your stamina. Able to be cooked in 15 minutes.
How to cook
  1. Slice the pork into 2cm width pieces. Cut off the hard part of the garlic greens and cut into 2cm length pieces. Chop the red bell pepper into thin strips.
  2. Cook the Somen until al dente. Rinse under running water while rubbing with hands, transfer into a strainer and then drain.
  3. Mix the (A) seasonings.
  4. Heat salad oil in a frying pan and then add the chopped ginger. When you begin to smell an aroma, add the pork (sliced in Step 1). When the pork changes color, stir in the vegetables (Step 1).
  5. Add white wine to the pan and sauté briefly. Add the Somen (Step 2) and the seasonings (Step 3) and then stir-fry.

  • 6 bundles of Ibonoito Somen
  • 200g pork belly, thinly sliced
  • Bunch of garlic greens (approx.200g)
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon salad oil
  • 2 teaspoons ginger, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons white wine
(A)
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mentsuyu (soy-based dipping soup for noodles), "straight type" (no need to dilute)
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
